On top of being an exciting month in the LA Architectural scene, we had the arrival of the Endeavour Space Shuttle.  I went out to Malibu to watch it fly into LA and got these two shots over the Malibu Pier.   

 

I then remembered watching the launch of Apollo 11 on our huge 17 inch B&W TV and after some searching found these photos I took of the launch from the TV.   

 

Even then, I was taking pictures off the TV, they’re just a little better quality now, like this shot of the Shuttle Endeavour passing in front of Randy’s Doughnuts a few nights ago.
